Reading "Why is This Subject a Taboo?", really interested me. I love reading and hearing about these types of topics being discussed, like there are still people out there acknowledging these matters and working towards a fairness that everyone can agree upon.
Growing up in New Hampshire, I feel like these types of matters within the country, it had seemed from what my public schools had taught me up until atleast nineth grade, had been already locked down and that they were no longer a issue to be discussed. I can only speak for what I was taught in that state, and seeing how there are no native commnities in that state or anywhere close to it is hard for me to really say. I'm sure within the native communities in the U.S they are still working on righteousness, but other than that I don't see it really being acknowledged, but again, I don't know all about it. That's what I really appreciate about Canada, is that here the true history of the country respecftfully still maters, and is not just made excusable.
In the business aspect I see it as important, in the way that the issue is in better hopes of resolution, and gives natives a better sense of self respect in believing so, in that way they can be true to themselves and work towards what really matters, to them.
I really liked this article...
